Motion Designer — Animated Graphics & Video
I work in motion design using After Effects — logo animation, product explainer videos, animated banners and stories, titles and transitions for video. Before animating anything, I always work from a storyboard: I lock in key frames and timing on paper or in a simple document first, so the client sees the ropes of the video before I spend time animating it — that saves both sides late-stage revision cycles. I use a library of my own presets for common transitions, but I tune pacing and movement style to the specific brand rather than reusing the same template everywhere. I work in flat 2D animation and lighter 3D animation through a Cinema 4D integration for individual elements. I arrange and cast voiceover through partner narrators when an explainer video needs it, but I don't do the voice recording myself. I don't take on feature-length animation or complex character rigging — my specialty is graphic motion, not animated film. Typical turnaround for a 30–60 second video is five to seven working days including a storyboard and one revision round.
